In addition to the thrilling single-player campaign and “survivor” modes, the game also offers relentless, action-packed, two-player online and offline co-operative battle modes. With classic isometric arcade shooter gameplay, players can run and shoot in all directions, and collect a number of different weaponry, grenades, gun turrets and health packs to help them defeat vicious enemies and advance through the game, taking on thrilling alien bosses.
The Alien Breed Trilogy is a collection of three explosive science fiction arcade-shooters that resurrects a much revered franchise with an epic narrative, swarms of intelligent alien enemies, high-impact weapons, highly detailed and rich environments all implemented with superb technology in a state-of-the-art gaming experience, developed using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3. The collection will be available from the 18th of March. Hot on the heels of the Alien Breed 3: Descent being released on PlayStation Network, Mastertronic Group and Team 17 have today announced that the entire trilogy will soon be available to purchase at retail (yes, on a disc of all things!) for Xbox 360.
